I am on my skiing holiday now. My “holiday” began with working as a judge at Finnish (freeskiing) Open in Sappee. I was around many friends and I got to ski, so I loved it! The competition itself was also quite dope, although you could definitely tell that, this winter hasn’t been one of the best ones. The skiers from up north dominated, while a part of the skiers from southern Finland, didn’t even bother attending…
I was there for three days, judge for two and skier for one! Sappee’s slopes are just easy enough for me, I felt really good skiing there! It also made me want to ski more, I’ve skied 9 days this year, but I want to ski at least 30. So let it get colder!
Just by the way… Skye suggested me applying to Paralympics to share my FightBack attitude. At first I wasn’t that fond of the idea, but after a while I got it. Cause after all, I want to inspire all people, who have faced similar struggles as I have.
On Sunday night we moved to Hämeenlinna, because I had two presentations at Parola primary, and middle school on Monday. Speaking to kids, who are so honest about their feelings is great. I love it.
After visiting Parola, we drove to Lahti, picked up my brother from the train station, visited the Gymstick headquarters and drove to Savitaipale, my Grannies. I’ve loved it here, it’s winter! I’ve tried a little Nordic skiing, noticed it to be challenging and after falling down multiply, decided to make myself to learn it! So this holiday… is really a skiing holiday! And not so surprisingly… I love it!
