First of all, I’m not encouraging stupid behavior in any way. Getting a hangover, is quite dumb in my opinion, I mean cause of drinking too much. And it sucks. And I did it Friday.

We went to Merimasku, which is quite close to Turku.

My good Finnish friend who lives in Australia, comes home to Finland only once a year, and that once this year, is now. On Friday we went first, out to archipelago on a boat, where we had a blast! Then we came to Turku, and then I, should’ve gone home, in my opinion… but I did not. I stayed out, not for too long, but long enough to catch myself a little hangover.

My running coach, Päivi, ran the Marathon as well. She had branded herself! Maybe the guys were able to finish, because her back told them to Fight Back! ;)

If you know you drink and stay out long enough to have a hangover, you should just rest next day, try to take it easy and get over it. I did not.

My recumbent was on repair at Visan pyörähuolto again, and I had promised to get it on Saturday. I woke up at 8’ish, after poor 6 hours of sleep, and went to get it at 12 o’clock. The Paavo Nurmi Marathon was going on yesterday, as well and I walked through the starting area as I went to fetch my bike. This gave me the idea to go, and cycle 16 km to my Mom’s at Satava, straight away!

-I did.

The guys were feeling like this after finishing... respect! I was feeling like that, cause I wasn't smart.

It might have not been the smartest decision I’ve ever made. Thank God I had my water bottle on me, but even with it, the way there and back, was the roughest for a while.

Last night I went to bed early, and now I feel awesome! It’s a miracle what sleep, and sleeplessness… does! I will also go running today, not a Marathon, but 5,2 km altogether! 400 m X 3, 800 X 2 and 1200 X 2. 😛

Now I'm gonna go there, ADIOS!
