The year 2014 has been a really good one. I have been concentrating quite purely in rehabilitating myself, learning to run and spreading my story. On 6.9.2014, we ran the first ever FightBack Run, which I finished, but ran poorly. This was the first time I’ve been able to push myself far enough… to puke. I started fast, way too fast… for my current condition, and I got myself to puke.
Even though I will running properly enough to finish the marathon, I won’t be able to become a professional athlete, again… I have had to find something else to do, for living. We’ve been able to make FightBack-, the brand quite well known, in Finland… I want to make it Global. We are going to make it Global, we just need a little time. I believe in the brand’s cause, the logo is cool, and I have decided to do it. It will happen.
Another thing that I have been really excited, and very happy to do, is inspiring and exciting others with my story. This year has been a really crazy one, also because I have been able to find out, how powerful just thinking positively can be. I have been giving presentations and speeches, all over Finland, and even in Norway. The biggest audience last year (2013), was like a hundred. The largest audience of 2014, in Turku, was somewhat 5000! Huge.
This is exactly what I hope to be doing in the future, too. To inspire people, and to make us appreciate what we’ve got! I love my life, and I’m sure that so do almost all of you, at least you should. Just being alive is really awesome! We should enjoy it. And we should make enjoying it possible, for everybody. This means the FightBack from the poverty. I also gave a presentation in the TEDx. I’d really like to continue giving presentations and speeches in English.
I’m only a human, but I’m a dreamer, and I know that our team, is able to make miracles. I hope that the year 2015, will be filled with dreams, and with miracles. And positivity! I might have won the most positive person in Finland this year, but on next year… I will be even more positive! Because the being positive is fun, and the person who gains of it the most, are you, yourself.
Before I’m out, I need to give GREAT thanks to each and every one… of YOU! And wish you an even better new year 2015!! We’ll have to work hard for it to top this one, but at least I know, that I will. Happy New Year!
